ALL ENTRANTS receive song pitching and songwriting courses worth $50 and a personalized UKSC Certificate for each song (it looks great framed). Entrants are invited to join our exclusive closed Songwriters Community Group. Every entrant is told the exact judges score for each of their songs and also receives a UKSC Certificate for each song. This is a good way to see how it was rated compared to other songs in the contest. You also get a Personal Song Dashboard to track your entries. Prizes include memberships of the Guild of International Songwriters and Composers, media support, personal coaching with famous songwriters, work with top producers, there are Honorary Diplomas in Music, free MA Music Grade exam registrations for songwriting and performance, and much more. There are 20 winners (one for each of the 20 Song Categories) and there are Finalist, Semi Finalist, Commended Entry and Special Mention award winners in every category - see the Prizes Page for full details of this year's prizes. Everyone who enters has their songs examined and rated by industry professionals and everyone receives song pitching opportunities and songwriting courses at SongU worth US$50. Every songwriter is given the judges score for each song and a UKSC Certificate for each song entered. This is a genuine chance for all songwriters to be noticed by the music industry in London and to have their songs judged by industry professionals. No other contest works harder or provides more opportunities to the songwriters who enter.

Many entrants have been noticed and promoted through the contest and have received royalty earning radio play and many more have been featured in the press, in radio interviews and on prime time television around the world. Many entrants have been published, signed or produced, by top industry figures who follow this event closely looking for new talent - Simon Cowell for example signed one of the winners. In the words of Channel 4 Television: "The UK Songwriting Contest does what it says on the tin!  This is a real chance for new songwriters to break into the music business".

OPEN TO EVERYONE
This contest is open to songwriters from every country. Beginners and experienced writers are welcome and all are judged equally. This is an international contest with entries from every continent. Everyone has the same opportunity to showcase their work to top people in the music industry in London and have their work examined and judged in the UK and to appear in the Awards Show Reel no matter where they live. Beginners have the same chance to be succesful as more experienced writers.

CERTIFICATES
Every writer will receive a personalised UKSC Certificate for every song entered - it will look great framed on your studio or living room wall, as a prop in publicity photographs, or use it in your press kit or when you apply for courses or jobs etc. Every writer will also know the exact judges score for each song entered.
